They spend a lot of money and time to be attractive, but what is beauty or who is beautiful,
handsome?
Beauty standards change according to countries.
In the USA, women think smiling men aren't attractive, but men think smiling women are
beautiful.
In Mauritania Africa, people think slim people are very ugly, so they eat too much to look
beautiful or handsome.
For Iranian people, noses are very important for beauty.
150 ,000 people have nose operations in Iran every year.
In India, people don't want to have haircuts, because long hair is a sign of beauty there.
In Vietnam, women paint their teeth black.
They think having black teeth makes women more beautiful.
Most of the Estonians have blonde hair and blue eyes.
They find these colors very attractive.
Two percent of the world's population have red hair.
In Scotland, there are more redheads than other countries, and Scottish people think they
are very beautiful.
People all around the world spend $382 billion on beauty products or treatments every year.
$382 billion is enough to end hunger in Africa.
Never forget the saying, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
