New Day Street

Hello kids, this is New Day Street. It is a long street. People on this street are very nice and happy.

Every day they start the New Day with saying, Hello, how are you two each other?

Look, the lady on the left is Miss Smiley. She is a chemist.

People go to her shop to get medicine, aspirin or painkillers. She always helps people. She has a cat.

Her name is QT. QT is my best friend. The man opposite the chemist is Mr. Kindy. He is a green grocer.

He is very helpful and nice. He always sells fresh fruit and vegetables.

The man near Mr. Kindy is Mr. nicer. He is a baker. He makes delicious bread, carrot cakes and cookies.

He always gives cookies to QT and me. There is a bookstore next to the chemist.

Children generally go there at weekends to buy books and magazines. When they come, they bring meatballs for me.

They are very kind. There is a coffee shop too. People go there to have a rest, chat with their friends and drink coffee.

At the end of the street, there is a big shopping mall. People go there to buy shoes, clothes and toys.

It is generally very crowded. QT and I love this street and people here very much. We are very happy here.
