It has been the breaking news since this morning.

The hijackers got control of the plane flying to Egypt.

Anchor woman Carol Lynn presented it in the 8 o 'clock news.

I really like this lady.

She is good at her job.

I hope nobody gets hurt.

However, there is one thing I don't understand.

How can they get all the information so quickly?

Well, all of the TV channels and newspapers have correspondence,

or in other words, reporters living in different countries.

When something important happens in these countries,

they report everything to the main TV channel or newspaper.

They have satellite trucks as well.

TV channels use these trucks to transmit video signals back to the studio

for editing and broadcast.

A satellite truck has a large satellite dish, a type of antenna,

to send the signal back to the studio.

Oh, I see, but I like reading newspapers.

I really get bored when I see commercials on TV.

You're right, but you know TV channels earn money from these commercials.

They sell the time for commercials to the companies to introduce their products.

My kids love watching them, especially chocolate and ice cream commercials.

And newspapers also have advertisement pages.

Which newspaper do you read?

The ones with colorful front pages, they usually have gossip columns.

You can learn what celebrities are doing in these columns.
