Both girls and boys wear expensive outfits.

They are all very chic.

Girls generally wear elegant evening dresses and high -heeled shoes.

They go to the hairdresser to have a fancy hairstyle.

Boys usually wear a suit and tie or a bow tie.

Girls are usually more excited about proms.

Going to proms can be very expensive.

Some of the couples come to the prom in a limousine.

Some families even hire a photographer for the proms.

The prom can cost over $200 for a teenager.

When their families don't have much money, some teenagers work part -time to save money for the prom.

It is a tradition to select a prom king and queen.

Becoming a prom queen is the dream of many girls, but it is not very easy to be one.

You should be very popular at school, and you should join a lot of school activities

like sports or social events to become a prom queen and king.

You should wear shining clothes and shine like a star.

The prom night is a night to remember your whole life.
