Track 10 .2

It is widely believed in Thailand that dressing in a certain color according to the days

of the week will bring you good luck.

That's why each day of the week is assigned a particular color.

For example, today is Wednesday, and Thai people wear green today.

Monday is for yellow, Tuesday is for pink, Thursday is for orange and so on.

It's quite interesting to see people around wearing all the same color.

Wherever you look at on Fridays, for instance, you see blue.

On Saturdays, you see purple, and on Sundays, you see red all around.

The next one is about their greeting style.

Thai people put their hands together and bow their heads in order for

their nose to touch their hands.

This is called why.

It resembles the Japanese bow.

The higher the hands are, the more respectful the greeting is.
