Hezarfen archmed chilebe. Many people believe that the history of flying machines started

with the Mongolphia brothers and their balloons in 1783, but almost one and a half centuries

before that, in 1638, the legendary aviator archmed chilebe became the first man to fly.

Hezarfen archmed chilebe lived in Istanbul in the 17th century. He was a good -looking young man

with a thin moustache and a long beard. Inspired by the work of the 10th century Turkish scientist

Ismail Jeffheri and the drawings of the great Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci,

hezarfen tried again and again to make a flying machine, but without success. Then one day,

while he was studying an eagle flying high in the sky, he finally had a bright idea. He did more

research into the way birds fly, and he made himself a wonderful pair of wings.
