Hello, I am Sarah and I love history.

Last month, I visited Cairo, Egypt with my family.

Cairo was an incredible city

because it has historic places,

busy streets and kind people.

The locals speak Arabic

and the Egyptian flag is red, white and black

with a golden eagle.

We visited the Great Pyramids and an ancient museum.

The Nile River was gorgeous,

so we took many photos near it.

In the afternoon, we went to a street food festival

in the city square.

There were spicy main courses,

desserts and fresh drinks.

I tasted a traditional dish and really enjoyed it.

Transport was a little difficult.

The roads were crowded

and there was a traffic jam near the museum.

We took a bus and walked through the square.

Visiting Cairo was tiring, but unforgettable.

It is worth seeing.
