1. Location and History

Messing is a large city and a port on the Mediterranean coast of southern Turkey.

The city's history starts in the Neolithic Age.

There are lots of archaeological and historical structures from the Calcolithic,

Hittite, Rome, Byzantine and Ottoman civilizations.

2. Climate

The city is under the dominance of Mediterranean climate.

The summer seasons pass very hot and dry.

Other seasons are generally cool and rainy.

The average temperature in the summer is 28 degrees Celsius.

The coldest month of the year is January.

3. Attractions and don't leave without.

There are a lot of places to see in Madison.

Thin sand and clean water of the beaches make the city a must -see place.

Colacke, Tashujo, Kuruchai, Oren, Yinikash and Anamur beaches are some of them.

People should also see Ashaba Cave Cave, Cleopatra Gate, Rome Road, Anamurium Ruins,

Silifke Castle, Jupiter Temple and Ayatekla.

Visitors shouldn't leave the city without going rafting on the Gokso River,

shopping at the Kuskalice Castle and diving at the bays.

4. Transportation

There are different ways to go to the city.

The province has connections to other cities by roadway and international connections by railway.

Massen International Port connects more than 100 ports.

Adana Shakirpasha Airport has national and international flights.

5. What to buy?

Massen has many shopping malls.

Some local products, like desserts, can be a great gift option.

People can also buy beautiful handmade rugs, carpets and multicolored curchives.

6. What to eat?

You can taste seafood and special kebabs in Mersing.

Grilled fish, tantone, gesare, hummus, shurdan, bandurma and uveremich are some famous local dishes of the city.
