My best friend.

Hi, I'm Isabelle. I am Spanish and I live in Madrid. My best friend's name is Lisa.

We became friends at primary school. She lives in Barcelona with her family now.

When schools close, she comes to Madrid and we spend our summer holiday together.

We are different from each other, but we get on well with each other.

She is an outgoing person, but I'm not. She has a lot of friends, but I don't.

She is funny and she likes doing crazy things, but I am a little bit serious.

We do many activities together because we love doing similar things.

We go swimming, attend parties, and play online games together.

She is a reliable and loyal friend. I share all my secrets only with her.

We live in different cities, but I know she is always there for me.

I think in order to experience true friendship, you need to back up and count on each other.

Lisa and I are true friends. Lisa is coming to Madrid today,

so I'm planning a surprise welcome party for her.

My classmates Martha and Roberto are helping me at home. Jeremy, Paul, and Linda are also

because she is always kind to them. I also invited Pam to the party, but she says she is busy.

I think she is telling a lie because I know she doesn't like Lisa. That's why she isn't coming.
