Dear helpful Anne, I'm 14 years old, and I have a serious problem at home.

I often argue with my mum about the household chores.

I try to help in the house as much as I can, and I sometimes take out the rubbish or mow

the lawn.

But my mum wants everything to be tidy, and she keeps telling me off because my room

is messy.

I don't want others to tell me when I should tidy my room.

I'm really fed up with her complaining and arguing.

What should I do to stop the fighting?

Have you got any good ideas?
