A real bookworm.
Hi, I'm Vanessa from London. I'm 17 years old. I'm a student at a high school. Every teenager has different hobbies.
And my hobby is reading books. I read more than five books a month. I'm a real bookworm. I don't need a special place to read books.
I always have a book in my bag. I can read everywhere. I read at home, at school, at a park, on a bus, or at a library.
Libraries and bookshops are my favorite places. Oh, and book fairs. I love them too. I hold membership at three different libraries.
I usually go to one of those libraries every week and borrow some books from there. I also love spending time at bookshops.
I usually spend a lot of money on books. There's a bookshop next to my school, and I go there three times a week.
Yesterday, I was at the bookshop, and I bought three new books. And I bought three new novels. I have a big bookcase in my room.
And I have more than 200 books in it. Organizing my bookshelves is actually fun. I sometimes read ebooks, but I prefer real books because I love the smell of the paper.
I can read multiple books at the same time. I read all kinds of books, but I like reading novels most. I also like reading history books, science books, geography books, and short stories.
I don't like reading poems or newspapers. I followed the news online. My family and friends always give me a book as a present on my birthday.
I don't understand how people can say books are boring. I can't imagine life without books.
