Stephen Hawking was born in Oxford, England on January 8, 1942.

He studied at the same school as his parents, Oxford University.

He was a successful student in maths, but he studied physics and chemistry.

Hawking went to the University of Cambridge to start his research on space theories.

Later in his career, his main branches of study were cosmology, quantum gravity, and black holes.

Doctors diagnosed him with a disease called ALS when he was 21 years old.

They said he could live four more years, but they were wrong.

Young Stephen continued his studies for a very long time.

Stephen Hawking was a patient and successful scientist.

He won many awards in his life, and there is a scientific prize in his name.

He published many articles, and he was a brilliant mathematics professor at the University of Cambridge for more than 30 years.

Even after his death in March 2018, his famous book, A Brief History of Time, is still a best -seller.
