Unit 9. Part C. Track 7. Read and listen to the sentences.

I'm Lara. This is my best friend, Becky. We were in the same school last year, but now

we aren't. A month ago, I started a new school. I feel very lonely and miss Becky

a lot. Yesterday, I had a bad day because I didn't know anybody at school. But I feel

great now. Bob, my new classmate, introduced me to his close friends at the cafeteria.

I met new people at school. I made friends with Alice and Tom two years ago, and now

we're great buddies. My teachers are great. I show respect to my teachers. I always listen

to them carefully in class, and I never make a noise. I feel good because I prepared my

school bag. It's ready, and tomorrow morning, I'm not going to feel stressed before school.

Do the right thing. Tell your teacher the name of the bully. Tell the truth. You're

right, Mum. I shouldn't tell lies.
