Unit 6. Exercise 17. Read and listen to the dialogue.

Hey, Sean. My dad says you're an adrenaline seeker. What does it mean?

It means I love doing extreme sports, Martin.

Extreme sports? You mean the ones like bungee jumping?

Exactly. I have tried bungee jumping, bass jumping, skydiving, highlighting, and motor biking.

Oh, my God. Don't you feel scared?

No. I love the feeling of freedom that these sports give me. I feel like iron -free as a bird.

You can also enjoy the eye -catching scenery while doing them.

Do you need any special equipment to do them?

Of course. Safety is the most important thing. There are lots of possible dangers of these sports.

We need special trainers, a helmet, thermal clothes, and sometimes ropes too.

What was your greatest experience ever? Have you ever experienced any dangers?

Well, I jumped off an antenna two years ago. There was a very strong wind. First, I flew for a while, but when I wanted to open my parachute, it didn't work.

I tried again and again, and at last, I opened it. It was very difficult to have a safe landing.

Wow. So what qualifications should a person need to have to start an extreme sport?

I think everybody can do it with the right training. Can I do it too?

Not yet, Martin. You are still too young to have an adventurous lifestyle.
