Everyone knows you as Rihanna. What's your birth name?

Oh, yes. My full name is Robin Rihanna Fenty.

When were you born?

In February 1988.

And where were you born?

On the Caribbean island of Barbados. It's an excellent place.

Did you grow up there?

Yes, I did. I spent my childhood there. I went to Comba Mary School near our house.

When I was 15, I met a music producer, Evan Rogers. We started to work together.

A year later, I finished school and I moved to the USA to work on a demo album.

So you struggled a lot to succeed. How did you become famous?

I love singing reggae, pop, and hip hop. I love everything about music.

I think I became famous because people felt that. They loved the song Umbrella in 2007.

With this song, I won my first Grammy award.

Did you win any other awards?

Yes, I won a lot of Grammy awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and People's Choice Awards.

That's wonderful. You acted in some movies too. Do you like acting?

Yes, I love acting, but I need to work harder to become a successful actress.
