Reading Ring 8.

Unit 2.

Teen Life.

Page 18.

Hi, sir. What is your name?

My name is Connor.

How old are you?

I'm 17 years old.

Excuse me? Are you 17 years old?

No, I'm not. I'm 17.

Oh, what? Is this a joke?

No, Doctor. This is my problem.

People say that I look very old.

But, but what activities do you do regularly?

I watch TV, play video games, chat with my friends online, surf the internet.

How often do you go out?

Not too much. I go to school on weekdays from 9 to 16. I take classes there.

Do you follow after school activities?

Well, not really. My friends sometimes go swimming, play tennis, do karate, ride a bike or play soccer after school.

But I'm not interested in sports. I always go home.

Do you eat healthy food?

Of course. My favorite food for breakfast is chips. I usually eat ice cream for lunch, and I always eat hamburgers for dinner.

I'm worried about your health, Connor. As a teenager, you should pay more attention to your health.

You need to go out more, and you need to eat more fruit and vegetables.

Fruits and vegetables? I hate them. This is silly. You know nothing. I'm fine. I'm going home.

And you should be respectful of doctors.
