Bert, Carl and Hank are talking about sports and other physical activities.
Read and listen to their conversation.
Are you going to spend the weekend together?
Yes, but we have a problem.
I want to go hand gliding, but Carl prefers skateboarding.
That's true. I would rather go skateboarding than hang gliding, because it's safer and easier.
But I am an out -of -the -line seeker.
I prefer to win challenging activities.
Hang gliding is more challenging.
But you must be very careful if you go hang gliding because it is really risky.
Would you like to join us, Hank?
Oh, no. The weather is very hot, and I would rather go rafting or canoeing in summer.
I enjoyed them too.
Rafting is my favorite water sport.
But I think it's a dangerous sport.
It's more dangerous than canoeing.
Actually, there's always physical danger in every sport.
Oh, yes. There is.
But if you aren't careful enough, one day I went jogging in the park.
I was talking on the phone, and suddenly I fell down.
I wasn't injured, but everyone looked at me and laughed.
