Dear Claire, I'm sorry that you have problems with your sister.

I know it is difficult to share the same room with someone else, especially with younger siblings.

You should talk to your sister and explain what annoys you.

She is old enough to understand, and I'm sure she'll appreciate the fact that you discuss the problem,

instead of just arguing with her or telling your mum.

You can make a weekly schedule for cleaning and tidying,

and decide which tasks each of you can do to keep your room nice.

Or you can do the room together so that you'll finish all the chores more quickly.
