3. Canada

Actually, Canadians don't have a general national costume, because the population of this country is a mix of nations.

Native Americans, French, English, Chinese and others.

But there are some pieces of clothing that are typical for present -day Canadians.

Fashion in Canada today still depends very much on climate conditions.

During the long winter months, when the weather gets colder and colder, people never wear dresses, skirts or shorts.

They dress more warmly in anorax, gloves, woolen hats and scarves, various fur and leather jackets, sweaters and boots.

These look good on both men and women and protect them from the low temperatures of the arctic winters.

So, environment, weather and culture all play an important role in the clothes that people wear, don't you think?
