Unit 8. Chores. Read the texts and do the exercises.

Hello, I'm George. I am 15 years old. I have a sister. Her name is Annie.

Tomorrow my grandfather, my grandmother, and my cousins will visit us, so we are making preparations today.

They will stay for a week, so the house should be clean and tidy. We need to share the household chores.

My mom, Pamela, will not be at home until four. She will go to the office, but she will do the shopping when she comes back.

She will buy some food and drinks and prepare the meals for tomorrow. My father, Jim, will wash the car, take care of the garden, and clean the garage.

I will tidy up all the rooms and vacuum the whole house. Annie will clean the kitchen and empty the dishwasher.

She will also clean the bathroom. I am very happy about tomorrow because I will see my grandparents and cousins.

I love them.
