Raising virtual pets

Hi, I'm Jimmy. I like animals a lot. I haven't got a real pet because both my mother and

father work and I go to school. But I have got a virtual pet now. It is my best friend.

I like taking care of my new friend, virtual pets or digital pets. They are pets on your

computer, smartphone or tablet. They are very popular today because they are similar to

real pets. You can choose an animal, a panda, a dog or a hamster. You can push a button and

feed your pet, walk your pet or clean your pet. You can also find friends for your pets.

You can connect to other pets online and they can play together. In virtual pet games you

can earn points and buy food or other things for your pet. Virtual pets are like real pets.

They can smile and look happy. They can also look sad. For example, when they are hungry

there is one little bad thing about virtual pets. You cannot touch them or hug them.
