What is the big deal with social networking?

I don't understand it.

I know a lot about computers.

I spend a long time every day in front of computers.

I also have a lot of friends using most of the social networking sites.

But I still don't like social networks.

I created a Facebook account but didn't build a profile

because I don't believe that Facebook is useful.

Putting too much personal information there isn't a good idea.

I joined Twitter and tried Instagram too.

But again, I don't really understand why people share everything on the Internet.

They even share the food they are having for dinner.

That's ridiculous.

You know there are millions of hungry people all over the world.

People also say it's very easy and practical to shop online.

But I prefer to go out, have fresh air, and meet new people while shopping.

I think I'm a bit traditional and my idea of social networking

is meeting people face to face and talking to them.
