Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to Cultures and Traditions. Today, we are going to have

a look at the traditions of some special tribes around the world.

Let's start with the Dachad tribe in Mongolia. The Dachad people are nomads, so they move

from place to place in search of food for their animals. They travel, together with all their

animals up and down the mountains of the Dachad valley. Their life is really difficult because

the winters are very cold in this part of Mongolia, and there are also long periods without any rain.

Another very special tribe is the Masai. They live in Tanzania and Kenya in Africa,

and they are known for their unique lifestyle as well as their culture and traditions.

Their motto is, lions can run faster than us, but we can run longer. The Masai are strong warriors,

and they are not afraid of wild animals, so they live close to them. The men wear red clothes,

and they also dye their hair red, using paint that they make from herbs. Like the Dachad,

they have to move all the time in order to find food and water for their animals.

In fact, the Masai believe that all the cows in the world belong to them,

so they sometimes steal cows from other tribes.
