I was at the first Global Bike Festival in the Austrian Alpine town of Salbac with my best

friend last summer.

The event and the atmosphere were fantastic and definitely worth seeing.

Upon our arrival at the festival area, we attended the opening ceremony and watched the

bikers parade where the bikers in the same team greeted the spectators.

After the ceremony, everyone started to go to the Sky Tram to reach the top of the first

trail and there it was.

We were all at the top and ready for the 2095 metre bicycle ride.

When I was going downhill by bike among the mountains, I was amazed by the view of the

lake from above.

After the first trail, I went back to the top again by the Sky Tram.

I met a couple there who was waiting for the next section to begin.

They were from Poland and it was their first time at such a festival, so they were excited

to ride there.

Then, they began their ride downhill in front of us.

The couple loved riding with us.

They said it had been an epic ride.

At the festival area, it was lunch time.

There, in front of the restaurant building, which was made up of stone, we ate a well -deserved

sandwich and pizza with the big group that we were riding with.

After that, the races began.

We wandered along the trails and watched the other bikers till the evening.

I can say that we were both the bikers and the spectators of the event.
