Hello. My name is Steve.

My favorite holiday destination is Lisbon,

and I visit this wonderful city every year.

Let me give you some information about it.

As you know, Lisbon is the capital city of Portugal.

It is in the west part of Europe,

and it is a very popular tourist destination.

Well, the best time to visit Lisbon is March to May,

or late September, because it is very hot in summer,

and it's also very crowded.

Wintertime is not so bad either,

as it is not too cold or too crowded in winter there.

Still, visit Lisbon in spring or autumn.

When you come to Lisbon, you can travel everywhere by taxi,

because it's very cheap.

You can also use the famous tram 28.

It takes you to all the famous tourist spots.

Don't rent a car because traffic is terrible.

Walking is another way to travel around,

because it's not a very big city,

so many tourists prefer to walk.

The only thing you need is a comfortable pair of shoes.

By the way, don't forget to bring your camera with you,

and a map too, so you can find the places easily.

Lisbon is famous for its pastries and seafood.

The Portuguese eat fish more than any other nationality in Europe,

but Portuguese food is a little bit spicy,

so keep that in mind.

Finally, you can see many historical places in Lisbon,

because it's the second oldest city in Europe,

after Athens.

It's even older than Rome.
