Hi, my name is Kim Al -Qaeda.
I am the editor of yoldoomok .com.
I travel around the world, and I can say I've been to lots of places.
I was fascinated by Petra when I saw it in the daytime.
However, after I saw it lit with 1 ,800 candles at night, it was much more fascinating.
No words can describe this experience.
It's also called the Rose City because of the color of the stone.
The Nabataians built this marvelous city.
They were originally a nomadic tribe who lived in the northwest part of Arabia.
They raised camels, sheep, and horses, and they grew olives and grapes.
They were good traders, too.
They combined the architectural styles of the Roman, Egyptian, and ancient Greeks,
and created the marvelous city of Petra.
It is located between the Dead Sea and Jordan and the Gulf of Akobah.
The ancient city of Petra is now recognized as one of the world's largest and most important archaeological sites.
