Little Lost Robot.

The next time I saw Susan Calvin, she was at the door of her office.

Her files were being moved out.

How were your articles coming along, young man?

She asked me.

Fine, I said.

Would you look over them?

I don't want them to be wrong in any way.

I suppose so.

So, shall we go to the executives lounge?

We can have coffee.

She seemed to be in a good mood.

We walked down the corridor together.

I was wondering, Dr. Calvin, I said, you have told me a lot about the history of robots.

But they are not related to the modern world very much.

What about interstellar travel?

The new hyper -atomic engine was invented only 20 years ago.

All 63 of them say that they have never worked here, and one is lying.

He shook his head slowly.

Dr. Calvin, we can't let that delivery ship leave.

If people learn about the modified robots,

destroy all 63, said Calvin coldly.

You mean destroy $30 ,000 per robot, said Bogart.

U .S. robots wouldn't like that, Susan.

We should try to find a solution before we destroy anything.

Why did you need these modified robots, general?

Dr. Calvin.

She stood up.

And every time, the robots ran forward and then stopped when they saw that the man was safe.

General Kralner looked hopefully at Bogart.

Nestor 10 was lying on the ground.

They removed the robot's arm and lifted her up.

The other modified nesters will be destroyed, Calvin said.
