samburu, great rift valley, Kenya, their motto, a deaf ear meets with death, a listening
ear with good fortune, their traditions, the samburu are nomads, this means that they
move from one place to another every five or six weeks in search of water and new places
to feed their animals. Following an old tradition however, the samburu also move every time
a tribal member dies. The samburu have a protein -rich diet and they often drink cow's blood for
breakfast. But they do not kill their cows of course, they just make a small cut in the
animal with a narrow.
