1. Scientific developments started in ancient times.

Many scientists from different nations and cultures made great contributions to science.

Ancient Egyptians and Greeks promoted the development of science with their contributions to mathematics, astronomy, and medicine.

Then, Muslims and people from the Roman Empire and many other cultures made science better.

Their studies influenced all the other developments.

2. Scientists are working on many different projects nowadays.

The flying car is one of them.

Many scientists are working on the flying car, and they guess flying cars will be ready to use in 2028.

The Android robot is another project at present.

These robots will take care of our houses, serve meals, and protect buildings.

I feel very excited when I think about these projects.

Main idea, current scientific developments.

3. Science classes and labs are very important for learning about science, but they aren't always safe places.

Many accidents can happen there.

Thousands of people have serious health problems in labs every year, so we should use the necessary safety equipment.

We should use glasses, masks, and gloves when we are in labs.

They can protect us from many risks.

Main idea, dangers of science and doing experiments.

4. Keeping in touch with others was very difficult in the past.

The four Graham Bell invented the telephone.

People had to use messenger birds, smoke signals, or the radio to keep in touch with each other.

In 1983, Martin Cooper invented the first mobile phone, and it was an amazing development.

After the invention of smartphones in 1994, contacting others became much easier.

5. Science is the art of helping people, and scientists work hard to help everybody in the world.

They produce bionic eyes for blind people.

They produce artificial ears for the deaf too.

Also, they work hard to develop more modern and better wheelchairs.

These wheelchairs are designed to climb stairs and are easy to move.

Moreover, the newest prosthetic legs and arms make disabled people's lives better.
