Yes, there is one in my neighbourhood.

What do you buy there?

I generally buy vegetables and fruits, but other things as well.

When do you go there?

Every Saturday.

Do you prefer to shop at the farmer's market or at the supermarket?

I prefer the farmer's market.

Why?

Well, because in the farmer's market, I can find organic vegetables and fruits.

They are fresher, sometimes picked only a few hours before I buy them.

And they are tastier, that's for sure.

Can you compare farmers markets and supermarkets?

I mean, why is the supermarket your second choice?

Well, first of all, the things in the supermarket aren't as fresh as the ones in the farmer's market.

I think their nutritional value is lower as well.

They are transported from far away.

Also, the things at supermarkets are produced by large companies

which use heavy pesticides and unnatural fertilisers to provide perfect products,

which are not good for us.

And lastly, the products in supermarkets are less tasty.

What about prices?

Well, farmers markets are cheaper.

Supermarkets, on the other hand, offer convenience and variety.

I think the farmer's market cannot replace the supermarket.

Still, it is a good alternative with its fresh products.
