Job advice for teenagers.

A summer job is a great way to earn money for your activities and interests

or to save up for your college education.

However, you should think of your present skills and your future career

to choose the most suitable job for you.

Here are a few ideas.

If you like being with lots of people, try working in a store.

You can earn from six to seven pounds an hour,

serving customers or working as a cashier.

This type of work is great for sociable teens

as you will have contact with the public and work as part of a team too.

During the summer months, working parents need to find someone

to look after their young children.

So, if you love children, think about a summer job like this.

Though it pays well, generally about 12 to 14 pounds per hour,

it also requires patience.

This is a great choice if you are thinking about a career in teaching or child care.
