Listening. 2 .2. Read and listen to the following text about the breakfast menu of three students

from different countries. My Breakfast. Alice is from Britain. She has breakfast with

her family at half past seven. She usually eats fried eggs, a slice of bread or a croissant.

Also, she has some sausages and some baked beans. She likes drinking some orange juice or

a cup of milk. She sometimes eats cereal, especially when she is in a hurry.

Jen is from China. She prefers a quick breakfast. She has her breakfast on the way to school.

She doesn't eat any eggs, bread or cereal. She eats some sweet potatoes or eutile.

Traditional Chinese fried breadstick. She never drinks tea or milk for breakfast. Her

favourite drink for breakfast is a glass of bean juice. Emery is from Turkey. Breakfast is a

very important meal for his family. They eat breakfast together at seven every morning on

weekdays. Emery drinks a cup of milk, but his parents like drinking tea. He has an egg,

some cheese and olives. He loves eating a slice of bread with butter and honey. It's his favourite.

He sometimes has a bagel too.
