Listen to Jason and Circle.
Hey Jen, my family and I had fun last weekend.
We played board games and I won almost every time.
On Saturday, we played Monopoly for three hours without a break.
Did you know that Monopoly is a world's most popular board game?
In 1933, Charles Darrow invented a game like the one we played today.
He tried to sell it to Parker Brothers, a games company,
but they said that the game was boring.
Later, they changed their minds and in 1935,
they bought Darrow's game and made it famous all over the world.
Then, in 1941, the British made a special Monopoly game to send their prisoners of war in Germany.
They hid the money and maps in it to help the prisoners escape.
Well, when are you coming to stay so we can play board games together?
