Track 6 .4 I'm so happy for you, Dylan. You're in your dream city, Cairo.
Tell me about it, honey. What is life in Cairo like?
Chirines live in apartment buildings. Apartments usually have one large room in the front, the living room.
Family is important for them, so both men and women live with their parents until they get married.
People here usually go to coffee houses. They meet their friends, drink coffee or tea, and play backgammon bear.
Egyptians also enjoy watching TV programs, especially soap operas and football matches.
It's not much different than in other cities. Well, what about people? What are they like?
Egyptian people are very friendly and helpful. They like helping strangers. They mostly work in companies or factories and get dressed in a modern style.
Most of those people are university graduates, and many of them can speak English fluently.
Wow! One more question. What's the weather like there?
Egypt is a perfect place for warm loving people like me, Mom. The summers are too hot. The temperature is about 42 degrees, but the weather is warm in spring and autumn.
It isn't rainy in those seasons. And in winter, it is still sunny and nice.
I see. Good to hear that you are comfortable there, Dylan.
Yes, Mom. Well, I have to go now, Mom. I'll call you later. Bye.
Bye, Dylan.
