Two, Ghana.

People in Ghana are very proud of their national dress.

In everyday life, they usually wear cotton skirts or trousers and light tops, often in

bright colours and with interesting designs.

Women often wear headscarves that match their outfits.

Because trainers or high heels are less practical in the hot weather, most people prefer to wear

cool, comfortable sandals.

As in many other African cultures, bead jewelry is very important in Ghana.

The colours and sizes of the beads represent a person's social status.

Bigger, brighter beads are a sign of wealth and every colour means something different.
