Track 2 .3

I've got so many things to do. I haven't got enough time to do everything I have to do.

You're always so organized, Mark. How do you do it?

I'm not always organized, but I read a book about time management two months ago.

I use some of the strategies that the book suggests, and they help me to plan and to keep track of deadlines.

Do you think it will help me too?

Definitely. This is what I do.

I keep a to -do list of all the things I need to do.

Then, I decide which tasks have high priority and which have low priority.

I write down the deadline for the task, or I decide on a deadline of my own, and I make a note of the most urgent tasks.

That seems pretty simple, but how do you follow the progress you make on a task?

I do a couple of things. First, I keep my list updated.

When I finish one of the tasks on the to -do list, I delete it from the list.

That sounds like a great system. All I need now is some extra time, so that I can start doing some time management.
