Track 5.
Listen to the radio broadcast about good or bad friends.
Write G, good friends or B, bad friends.
Hello and welcome to my psychology talk today.
This is Sally Johnson, live on BBC Radio.
Today, I'm going to talk about friendship.
What is a good friend like?
First of all, good friends try to understand your problems because they care about your feelings.
They try to understand your feelings.
They are good listeners.
Bad friends don't care about how you feel and generally they don't listen to what you are saying
or when you are talking about your problems.
They want to talk about themselves and their own problems all the time.
Secondly, good friends spend time with you when you are having a hard time.
They try to help you when you make a mistake.
But bad friends run away from you when you have a problem.
They even get angry at you when you make a mistake.
Another important thing is about secrets.
Good friends keep your secrets.
You can always trust them.
But bad friends tell your secrets to other people without thinking.
Finally, good friends treat you well and show you respect.
They share their sandwich with you when you are hungry and don't have anything to eat.
They share their love.
They hug and kiss you with all their hearts.
What bad friends only think about themselves.
They don't respect you and sometimes they even make fun of you.
Good friends never make fun of you but they always have fun with you.
That's all for today folks.
Listen to me again tomorrow.
I am going to talk about relationships.
Have a good day.
