What do we watch?

Hello, I am Mariana. I am from Newcastle.

It is generally very cold here in winter,

so my family and I don't go out very often in winter at weekends.

We sometimes sit and watch TV at home.

We prefer watching documentaries together because we all think they're educational.

My brother generally prefers watching cartoons because he thinks they're amusing.

My father wants to watch the news and the weather forecast because he thinks they're informative.

He says we should have information about everything in our country and the world.

My mother prefers watching cookery programs or soap operas because she thinks they're enjoyable.

I don't like watching TV. I rarely watch comedies when they appear on TV.

Last weekend we shared the TV hours.

In the afternoon, my brother watched his favorite cartoon.

Then, my mother watched her favorite cookery program.

In the evening, my father and I watched the news and the weather forecast.

It was really very informative for me.

I am happy that no one is a couch potato in our home.

We love reading books and magazines more than watching TV.
